I can’t stop playing Starfield

I’m ready to admit it: I can’t stop playing Starfield. And you know what? I don’t even want to stop. This game has become a true cosmic odyssey for me, one I’m ready to dive into again and again.

Bethesda Did It Again

When Starfield first came out, I was skeptical about the promises of “thousands of planets”. Like yeah, cool, but why do I need 1000 empty rocks in space? But after spending the first 10 hours in the game (okay, maybe 15, I lost track of time), I realized — this is exactly what space RPGs were missing. Scale, freedom, the ability to build your own story among the stars.

Funny thing, I almost skipped the game entirely because my PC couldn’t even run it properly at first. Had to upgrade my GPU. My wife still doesn’t know how much that cost lol

“Too Many Loading Screens!”

Okay, let’s address this right away. Yeah, I’ve seen all the whining about loading screens. “Boohoo, there’s a loading screen every time I enter a building!” “Boohoo, this isn’t a real open world!”

You know what? If you’re sprinting around the game like a maniac, bursting through every door thinking this is Fortnite or Call of Duty, then of course you’re not gonna enjoy it. This is an RPG. An RPG where you need to think, explore, build.

Starfield is for those who know how to play games properly. For those who can spend an hour just exploring one location, reading terminals, listening to dialogue. Loading screens? They last seconds! That’s barely enough time for me to take a sip of coffee.
