So did anyone else catch Fred Again, Skepta, and PlaqueBoyMax dropping “Freelance” live on Twitch? Seriously, this is how you do a music release in 2025. They literally made the track live on stream and then just dropped it right there for everyone. The energy was unreal.

And then, as if that wasn’t enough, they threw a pop-up rave at the Brooklyn Paramount and streamed that too. The crowd was massive, and you could feel the hype even through the screen. It honestly felt like one of those rare “you had to be there” moments, but thanks to Twitch, we all kind of were.

Musically, “Freelance” is a banger. Fred Again’s production is always top-tier, Skepta’s verse goes hard, and PlaqueBoyMax ties it all together. Plus, Doechii on the chorus? Chef’s kiss. It’s got this wild mix of grime, electronic, and something totally new. Super catchy, but still feels fresh.

They also dropped “Victory Lap” and wow, the genre-blending is next level. It’s like hyper-pop meets grime and it just works. You can tell these guys are having fun and pushing boundaries. Honestly, this whole release was just a vibe. It’s cool to see artists using platforms like Twitch to connect with fans and make the whole thing feel interactive. If this is where music releases are headed, I’m all for it.

Anyone else obsessed, or is it just me?
