Following the massive success of Ne Zha 2, Trinity CineAsia has acquired theatrical distribution rights for 37 European markets, including the UK, Ireland, Germany, France, and Spain, from Beijing Enlight Media.

The record-breaking Chinese animated blockbuster will premiere in the UK and Ireland on March 21, with early screenings starting March 14.

Ne Zha 2‘s Box Office Records

The film has become the highest-grossing animated movie ever, surpassing Pixar’s Inside Out 2 and marking the first non-Hollywood production to top the global animation box office.

It also set a historic milestone by grossing $1 billion in China alone, where it debuted on January 29. As of early March, its worldwide earnings have exceeded $2 billion.

Currently ranked sixth among the highest-grossing films of all time, Ne Zha 2 is expected to climb even higher in the coming weeks.
