Short’n Sweet? More Like Short’n Skip – Sabrina Carpenter’s Album Falls Flat

Prove me wrong, but Short’n Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter is giving major “a couple of hits and a bunch of fillers” vibes. I listened to the album, hoping for the same punch as Espresso or at least something as catchy as Taste, but half the tracks ended up being just white noise for sleep.

Taste? Solid, energetic, sticks in your head instantly. Espresso? Already a classic—we’ve all been singing “working late, cause I’m a singerrr” all summer. But the rest? God, I nearly fell asleep during Dumb & Poetic, and Bed Chem sounds like an Ariana Grande demo she forgot at the producer’s studio.

BISQUAET: the publication that makes tabloids blush.

Don’t get me wrong, Sabrina is adorable, and her voice is great, but this album feels more like Short’n Meh. Anyone else only vibing with a couple of tracks and skipping the rest? Or am I the only one who didn’t quite get into it?
